Country Creek Produce Farm

Hay Wagon Ride For most of the year, this 60-acre farm near Chambersburg is devoted to growing and selling delicious produce. Once the cooler weather sets in, you’ll find Country Creek opens its barndoors for their neighbors to spend some authentic down-home fun.

From October 4-26, visitors can enjoy a little twilight spin through the farm’s massive corn maze. Once the rooster crows, hop aboard a hay wagon and take in the sights and sounds of a working produce farm.

Have an old pumpkin just lying around? Stop by on the weekend from mid-September through November 2nd and send your gourd flying with help from their giant pumpkin cannon!


Fields of Adventure

Pumpkin Patch From ziplining to apple slingshots (not at the same time, of course) you’ll be dreaming of your own patch of land after visiting Fields of Adventure. Sure, there’s a themed corn maze and pumpkin patch to stroll, but that only breaches the tip of iceberg.

Located in the heart of Adams County, the Smith family has been raising cows, pigs, and chickens on their 700-acre farm since the early 2000s. For the past 10 years, they’ve been welcoming kids of all ages to their farm-inspired playground! Additional attractions include wagon rides,100-foot hill slide, and more!

Fields of Adventure is open each weekend through November. They also provide specials for field trips and large groups.


Paulus Mt. Airy Orchards

Apple Orchard The best fruits are those you pick for yourself. And, if you ask farmers Dan and Karen Paulus, the tastiest ones come straight from their York County orchards.

Fall is for apple and pumpkin harvestin. So, if you’ve never picked a Honey Crisp or Jonagold straight from the branch, there’s no better opportunity than now! Open throughout the week, the farmer’s at Paulus Mt. Airy Orchards host farm tours for small groups looking to learn the art of the orchard.

On the weekends, you’ll find plenty of special events and treats to share. During Winter and Spring, you’re welcome to take one of their family-friendly cooking classes.
